The social media-savvy students filled a much-needed gap for owner Laura Perez-Garcia, enhancing her store's website by publicizing inventory and revamping her Facebook and Instagram pages with fresh content.

The Israeli art lending library is a gift to Clark from the counsel general of Israel to New England. Through Hillel, Clark students, faculty, and staff can borrow works from Israeli artists and keep them in their residence hall or office for the academic year. Just a $5 deposit is required to borrow the art.

Clark Esports brings home two divisional championships

Following a semester of competitive play that saw four teams make it to the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) finals round, Clark University Esports ended the fall season as NECC Navigators Division champions of two different games, Valorant and Rainbow Six. The Overwatch and League of Legends teams were runners-up in their competitions.

With her father as inspiration, Clark senior plunges into study of Caribbean immigrants

Crissan Clayton '23 was 10 years old when she immigrated with her father to the United States from Jamaica. The adjustment was difficult for both of them, but over time, Clayton came to realize that her father faced challenges that were unique to him. His response to those challenges supplied the inspiration for her LEEP Fellowship project, which draws attention to the mental health issues facing parents from Caribbean countries and assesses the community resources available to assist them.

Clark and Worcester Art Museum partner on course, exhibition about identity

An exhibition at the Worcester Art Museum - co-curated by Toby Sisson, Clark University associate professor and program director of studio art and Nancy Burns, the Stoddard associate curator of prints, drawings, and photographs at the Worcester Art Museum - explores race and ethnicity. Together, Sisson and Burns developed a Clark course and the accompanying exhibition. "Us Them We | Race Ethnicity Identity" explores how contemporary artists since the mid-1970s have used formal artistic devices like text, juxtaposition, pattern, and seriality to explore socio-political concepts in their work. Student artwork accompanies the exhibit.
